History:

Azir was a wild and rambunctious child who lost his father Briarsnake to a poisonous snake bite. His father loved snakes and was usually careful but that day the fates had decided he was not careful enough. Since then Azir has a fear and hatred of snakes. His mother was always kind, nurturing and supportive, but he lacked a male figure in his life. Ashra soon replaced the lost father in the young Azir’s mind and they grew very close. Azir grew up with a hot temper and a scrappy attitude that always got him in trouble with his agemates until Ahsra could come along and soothe his anger with calm and wise words.



As he grew he knew he wanted to lead and become something greater than just another hunter in the tribe. His ambition led him towards tempering his anger and helped him develop a strong will to hold it in check. That will drove him onward to improve his hunting skills, improve his mental acuity, and to become worthy of leading the tribe. His mother and brother supported him in this and for a long time he flourished, growing into a strong and determined adult with a good head on his shoulders and an iron will.



Then he met the one maiden that would change his life forever. He and Dusksinger had a whirlwind type of romance as soon as they met. Tusk was enamored with her from the beginning. She was intrigued by him as well. They seemed to get along fine until one night Tusk said something that made the young maiden run. Not knowing how close his own words had rung to another’s who had hurt the maiden he woke the next day heartbroken that she was gone. Having poured his heart out to her he then resolved himself to never let go of hope that she would one day return and they could be together. Years went by and he began to lose hope, so he focused on the one other thing he wanted most in his life. To lead the tribe.



His chance came and he partook of the challenge that would let him become leader, taking a new name with his victory; Tusk. Time has now passed and though he lived his life as leader he often pined for his lost love. With the help of his wiser brother he led the tribe successfully for many years and now faces his greatest challenge. Repairing his broken heart and accepting that he cannot be there for everyone all the time. Struggling with his responsibilities and the changes in his personal life he stands on the precipice of a hard choice. Let his tribe lead themselves without him hovering, or lose the chance to be with the one his soul pines for.
